I recently stayed at the Zululand Tree Lodge for a peaceful getaway. The rooms were beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed and a large balcony, perfect for enjoying the tranquility of the surrounding fever tree forest. One of the highlights was waking up to the sight of animals grazing just outside our balcony, including zebra, impala, and nyala. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious, and the buffet dinner options were always excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. I also had a fantastic game drive experience with Megan, who showed us some breathtaking views and memorable animal sightings. I highly recommend this unique and romantic lodge.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

We had a great time staying in the middle of nature. The lodge provided an opportunity to see animals from our balcony, which was amazing. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome. We enjoyed the delicious food that was served for breakfast and afternoon tea, providing us with plenty of energy for our daily activities.
The rooms could use a little sprucing up and the furniture could be replaced. The lack of vegetarian options on the menu was also a downside, making it challenging for those who prefer a meat-free diet.

The location of the lodge was perfect, tucked away in nature offering a peaceful escape. the staff were friendly and welcoming making me feel at home. the rooms were clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower - definitely a unique experience! the breakfast and dinner were both delicious with a good variety of options.
The pricing was a bit steep considering the amenities provided. Some of the facilities were outdated such as the showers and the bathroom fixtures.

Located in an area close to the Fever Tree forest and Hluhluwe park, it offers opportunities to enjoy the wilderness. the rooms are basic, but some have views of the beautiful forest. the friendly service makes the stay comfortable.
The lack of wheelchair access and limited facilities for those with physical handicaps may affect the stay of some guests.
